Mertogen Biotech is a leading name in the field of plant tissue culture and biotechnology, recognized for its strong national presence and strategic collaborations across India.
Guided by the belief that biotechnology is a modern tool for human welfare, our journey began in 2012 when we ventured into plant tissue culture. We established our first tissue culture unit in partnership in Green City, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, with a vision: To protect Mother Earth by reducing indiscriminate fertilizer use and empowering farmers to enhance soil productivity.
Building upon this mission, we founded Mertogen Biotech in 2016-17-an initiative approved by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. Starting with an annual production capacity of 25 lakh plants, we have since grown exponentially.
By 2024, Mertogen Biotech has evolved into an industry leader, capable of producing and selling over 1 crore high-quality plants annually. With a well-established network of specialized dealers, we cater to banana-growing regions across Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh, making a significant impact on Indian agriculture.
